What's a "save-the-date" card?
This is a card that's sent out a few months before the wedding. It is intended to simply
remind guests that the day is approaching, and that a formal invitation will eventually follow.
For our cards, we also included some local hotel information for convenience; we did reserve
blocks of rooms in the named hotels, and those are simply there to ease a guest's planning
for the weekend. A guest is not required to stay in one of the named hotels, and the length
of stay is entirely flexible. If you have any questions, please let me know.
